SPG Global Pty Ltd was founded in Melbourne in 2008 by Los Angeles based Australian Simon Gallagher to manage his  media and entertainment investments and consulting.  

Simon has twenty-five years experience in media rights licensing and corporate strategy roles with the world's leading sports and entertainment companies including Netflix, Hulu, News Corp, Wasserman and IMG. More recently he has co-founded and managed a number of entertainment focused investment funds.

He has been an advisor to over 140 clients in 20 countries. Clients include the world's leading consulting firms, investment funds, sports leagues and media companies. He is also a regular industry commentator on platforms including CNBC, Sky News and the BBC.
